Atlanta Bucket List

We've been living in Georgia just over 10 months now, and I'm finally starting to get a footing with directions and street names. In Iowa roads run north/south and east/west for the most part, and its a beautiful thing that I clearly took for granted. Here roads look spaghetti on a map and I usually have no clue what direction I'm heading in. Also I'd love to meet the person that decided it would be a great idea to name ALL the roads Peachtree. Peachtree Street, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Parkway, Old Peachtree, Peachtree Corners just to name a few! So confusing.

Anyways there are definitely tons of things that we love about this area and being close to all a big city has to offer. So I started a little list of places we want to visit this year.

-Martin Luther King House
-King Center
-Lake Lainer
-Atlanta History Center
-Piedmont Park
-Zoo ATL
-Stone Mountain
-Capitol Building
-Fernbank Museum Of Natural History
-High Museum of Art
-Atlanta Botanical Garden

And here's some other recommendations if you're visiting Atlanta.
-Ponce City Market
-Georgia Aquarium
-Krog Street Market
-Centennial Olympic Park
-Atlanta Belt Line
-Westside Provisions

We are still discovery everything to do here, so please let me know anywhere else you'd add!
