Natalie | 4 Months

  • Weight: 17lbs. 4.5oz., off the charts!
  • Clothing Size: 3-6 months, and some 6-12 months
  • Diaper Size: size 3

  • Nurses about 4-5 times a day.

    Firsts/ Development
    • Natalie got her first ear infection this month. Turned out to be a double infection, and she actually ruptured one. AWESOME. She had her well check on a Monday, and everything checked out great. After that she was a little fussier than her normal self, but I just thought it was from her shots. She was also waking up once or twice a night, not to eat but just cry and fuss. Well the following Monday, while I was nursing her I saw her poor ear had ruptured, and just felt terrible. Some antibiotics and a couple days later she was back to herself. Thank you modern medicine!

    • She celebrated her first Thanksgiving this month. And despite mom's instructions, she had her first bite of potatoes thanks to her great-grandma.
    • I stopped swaddling her this month. I was anxious about breaking her that habit, but also knew that I didn't want her swaddled forever, like Noah was. I mean he was practically walking and still swaddled (I exaggerate a little). So far she's done great. No big hiccup, she just started sleeping fine without it.

    • We're pretty sure this is our last baby. But man, I'm just not sure somedays. When I take all 3 kids to the grocery store, and on bad days, I'm done for sure. But then on other days I just don't know. I know at some point this baby stage will end, and we'll close this chapter of our lives, but its just soooo sooo sweet. So hard sometimes, but so worth it. And these cheeks!!!! I mean they were made to be nibbled on and kissed.
