Rejoice Moms.

Do you ever have one of those days where you seem to have everything together. Everyone is showered and dressed, teeth brushed, children are well behaved and sweet, the house is picked up, etc. I had one of those days last week. We made it to Target before 9:15am, which is a big deal for us. I almost took a picture to capture the big occasion, but then I didn't...

Anyways all this say today WAS NOT one of those days. Like AT ALL. Today was one of those hard days were I felt totally in the trenches of motherhood and was ready to throw in the towel before lunch. I managed to steal about a half an hour away once Matt come home from work. I went to go get coffee and read for a moment by myself. While I was driving I couldn't help but shout to God this song while it played through the car stereo. In the grand scheme of life I know that a fussy baby and toddler aren't great sufferings, but I'm so grateful I serve a God who cares and hears all of my prayers and concerns however big or small they may be. I hope anyone reading this finds encouragement in this. And even on days when you don't have it together know that God does. REJOICE!

*Side note if you live under a rock and have never heard of Dustin Kensrue, Thrice, or Citizens add all three to your playlist immediately. (Only kidding about the rock, but seriously if you have a playlist add them to it.)

  1. I was wondering why DK's worship album was turned up so loud when I drove the van. Thanks for all you do for the kiddos.
