Chocolate Banana Smoothie | No Sugar Added




I can't take much credit for many/if any original recipes, but I'm going to go ahead and claim this one as my own. I've been making these smoothies for a couple weeks now and they've totally been satisfying my sweet tooth. I'll be honest and say that I've been exclusively making them during nap time as my own special treat that I don't have to share with my little people. Selfish? Maybe, but oh well.

Ingredients:
2-3 frozen bananas
1-2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 tbsp vanilla
2-3 cups almond milk (I like the unsweetened vanilla)

Directions:
Blend together and enjoy.

serves 1-2

*tip to freezing bananas: I peel my ripe bananas then put them on a parchment lined baking sheets before setting them in the freezer. Once they are completely frozen I put them all in a freezer gallon bag.
